Summary: Our expectations for a 4 star hotel were not met . Especially relative to the price . We have traveled extensively and found amenities lacking . However , the staff were very friendly and the location was excellent .

Summary: We booked this because of the strong ratings and good location. The staff was actually really great and the breakfast was OK (not included). Otherwise, we were put across the street in what appeared to be a storage room of some kind. Complete disrepair, filthy, dark and dingy with broken furniture, bad smell, and dirty floors. It had a small back garden with a bunch of outdoor furniture stacked up in the corner (never went out there). Mattresses very very old. It was a 3 level unit with all the doors locked on the top floor (creepy). Probably the worst hotel room for the money (and I paid a lot) I have ever had in 40 years of international travel. The proper hotel across the street did not appear full either as we were past peak season. Whole thing seemed like an obvious bait and switch.
